From the frozen tundra of American Indoor Football Association come the Erie Freeze. Kind of reminds me of the movie Mystery Alaska. Up in the cold frozen lake town come a group of young women who are here to entertain our shivering men. Of course this is INDOOR football so none of that plays out too well. Plus we’re talking about Pennsylvania here, not minus 30 degree Alaska. However, the part about young women and entertainment most certainly rings true. These ladies are the essence of team spirit as they show for the bus rides, the lunches, dinners, lapdances, and even make it to the player’s wives poker tournaments. Ever see the movie The Replacements? These girls remind me of the Sentinel Cheerleaders who are comprised of mostly strippers. These are the kind of ladies that make me want to be a local. They are right up there with ring girls at amateur fights or ice girls for junior hockey. Bottom line they are all hot and just haven’t made it yet. I hope this little article gets them some publicity. Me and my 1 hit a day.

What did I tell you about their skills? Bear in mind something. This picture was taken on a frozen lake. Even at the junior level these ladies are willing to do what it takes to entertain a crowd. Well…possibly to entertain some dude on flickr who took all of these pictures. Either way, it’s entertaining and it’s very helpful with my day.

Must be a night game or crappy lighting. It must also be white boot night. I’m also assuming that it’s Chiller take off their clothes after the game night. Right? Maybe that’s just wishful thinking or maybe that’s just how they do things in Erie, Pennsylvania. Whatever the case, it’s clearly how the game should be run.

I think I’d much rather watch this than the Erie Freeze. No offense guys.

Who here is into Canadian Football? Well if you are into Edmonton and Football then you’ve come to the right place. When these women aren’t dancing face to face while squatting and teasing every male under 16 in the audience they are more than likely supporting their Canadian boys out there on the Gridiron.

I mean just look here. Is it me or is that one of the defensive tackles on this team? It would appear he’ll be doing a lot more tackling that evening. What do you think the chances are that one of these women accidentally touched the vagina of one of these other women during a routine? It could happen.

A whole new breed of firefighters. They should have cheerleaders for fireman. Wouldn’t it be great if guys ran into a burning building with an entourage of hot women to cheer them on? “Put it out! “Put it out!” I’ll put them out.

What could perhaps be the best gathering of any event of any year is the P.R.O (Professional Routines On Demand) Convention. Essentially it’s a hodge podge of cheerleaders from various leagues like the NFL, MLB, NCAA, NHL, and a whole host more.

At this convention the ladies do a bunch of things including the sharing of cheering tips, looking ridiculously hot, stretching out so their legs don’t tighten up, buying the latest push up bras and learning the latest vagina tightening techniques.

It’s truly a spectacle to see. And just for shits and giggles the ladies all cheer together in banquet halls. Check out these pictures.

I wonder if Doug Flutie would have played better knowing that these chicks were coming out of the tunnel at halftime. “You want to see us cheer eh? Eh? Eh?”

What I like best about these ladies is the fact they go in the stands and fraternize with the fans. And I hear that after each game they do a little rockettes type of show at the gates. Perhaps I was embellishing on that last part.

But wouldn’t that be nice? Especially if the team lost. I mean is it too much to ask to have a consolation hummer now and then? I mean it’s gotta be part of the job requirement doesn’t it?

Or should I say the Animadoras? While we Americans have our fair share of ladies doing splits, jumps, and more than likely kegel exercises, European Basketball most certainly knows how to do it well too.

With cheerleading teams like the Red Foxes and the Unicaja Cintas, we should definitely have an all out war of American Vs. European cheerleaders. My initial reaction would be to take the Europeans.

Put it this way:  They all have topless network television over there, whereas we can barely get off the word “shit “on TMT. It’s just a matter of time before Europe moves into topless cheerleading so that gives them a distinct advantage.

Plus you can always count on Zee Germans to do some sick things.

Is it me or does this sound contradictory. The Scottish Rockettes are the official dance team for the Verve Scottish Rockets, Scotland’s only pro basketball team. But they’re the hottest in the UK? Yes I know it’s a British league but it’s still weird.

In any event, I’m sure that when these ladies aren’t doing splits and shaking their pom poms, they are drinking fans under the table.

It doesn’t get much better than that. Chicks who can dance and really tie one on. Perhaps I should move to Europe for about a week and see what these girls are really about. Oh, and let’s not forget the accents.

Although I’m not sure if I’d like it or get a little freaked out by a girl who was much tougher than me and who could drink through a hangover better than I could. Eh, I think I could deal with it.

We’re just starting to see cheerleaders in baseball here in the states. To my knowledge the only two MLB teams to have official spirit squads are the Florida Marlins (Marlin’s Maids) and the St Louis Cardinals (Team Fredbird)

But in good old Mexico? Cheerleaders have been in baseball for years. Unfortunately they don’t draw much attention here in the states.

Well, they should be drawing attention, serious attention. Hugh Hefner should be doing his homework as we speak. If I don’t see a “Hottest Ladies of the Mexican Baseball League” featured very soon, I’ll be a little disappointed.
