Personally I think Rugby is about the toughest sport there is.  I mean to make players of the NFL generally look like pansies you know you’re in a rough sport.  I just don’t get how players don’t die at least once a game.

But in any manly game there’s bound to be cheerleaders.  And the NRL doesn’t fall short in that department.  With 16 teams in the league that means around 160-200 chicks cheering their hearts out for these guys.

Holidays are a great time to cheer, don’t you think?  And given that most of you are just starting your returns home, why not keep you in the festive Christmas mood?

Who better to help the transition back to the real world than Cheerleaders in Christmas gear?  OK, I have nothing important to say here.  Seriously, it’s an extremely slow time of year and there’s too much egg nog in my system to compile a decent sentence.

So here are Christmas cheerleaders from a bunch of different leagues

For those of you living in England, the British Basketball League can’t be all that great.  I can’t imagine that the players are all that talented and from an entertainment standpoint, the one thing they got going for them would have to be the female side of things.

Let us take the Guilford Heat for example.  Their ladies, also called the Guilford Heat Honeyz remind me why I always wanted to get with a Brit.  You got the accents, you got the bodies, you got it all.   And if they’re anything like the Lucy Pinder and Rosie Jones’s of the world, then you’re really in for a treat.

I have no idea who these girls are.  I just know they’re called The Red Drops.  The entire website isn’t in English.  I know that they cheer for hoops.  I know they most of them are very flexible.

I know that there’s a picture where a girl uses so much flexibility that her foot pretty much touches her head in a very uncomfortable position.  And call me crazy but that kind of flexible ability is a characteristic I look for in a cheerleader.

Plus you know, they’re from Europe so if they’re looking for a husband to move to the U.S.  I’m in!

P.S. They do lapdances at halftime.

While I certainly enjoy watching cheerleaders entertain us from the front, that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate the view from the rear.  In fact I wouldn’t mind an entire halftime show dedicated to watching some of these women bend over.

That’s why I’ve decided to gather a collection of cheerleader butt shots.  You just have to appreciate the shape these women are in, and how they have zero qualms about show it off.

Call me crazy but I think the cheerleaders for the Boca Juniors might far and away be the sluttiest cheerleading team I’ve seen to date.  And I only mean that in the most complimentary way.

I also can only assume these that girls have to be more popular than the actually Boca Juniors themselves.

I don’t see any Appreciation societies on Facebook for the Juniors.  Only for the ladies dancing for the Juniors.

Hockey in Germany!  I tell ya, it still doesn’t change the fact that the sport still sucks.  But at least if I’m ever in Frankfurt and am forced to watch a hockey game, I can take solace in knowing that I can watch the Frankfurt Lions Cheerleaders shake their tails.

Seriously, could hockey be any more lame?  At least they have fighting.  Why can’t they have cheerleading fighting at halftime?  Now that would at least be innovative.

While I keep wishing, at least there are photos of their suppporting staff.

I don’t know about you guys, but it definitely looks like cheerleading is becoming awfully close to go-go dancing.  Take the Southend Bluebelles for example.  The Southend United’s soccer ladies sure show why soccer is a sport I’m slowly starting to embrace.

P.S. How fitting is it that their name is only two letters away from being Blue Balls?  And rightfully so.  After you see a performance from them that’s exactly what you’ll be getting.
