They call them the “Mean Green.”  It’s just too bad that The University of North Texas isn’t really on the map as far as collegiate sports go.   But sometimes the best things come from places that you wouldn’t expect.

Oh and what are those things?  Nothing but a little soap suds fight amongst girls.  That and looking nothing short of spectacular in their little mean green outfits.

Drexel was playing Loyola Maryland in hoops the other day and gosh darnet I didn’t pay any attention to the game.  What I did pay attention to were the lovely Drexel Spirit Squad ladies.  To me they just gave off this wonderful vibe.

Put it this way, you know a night out in college would produce nothing but fun with these ladies.

You can bet that during the Gold Rush had all the people going to California knew there was a flock of ladies looking like this at the end of the road instead of that Gold, there might be a ton less people interested in precious metals.

I have to admit that might have been the worst sentence I’ve ever written in my entire life.  However, it still doesn’t change the fact that the niners cheerleaders are a very sexy bunch and if I had my choice of a gold watch or a night with one of these women, I’d have some thinking to do.

Ah the days of college.  I was just wrapping up my junior year in 2003.  That would have meant many more ladies taken down, and the alcoholism reaching it’s peak.  What a glorious time that was.  It’s also around the time when most of the females you knew in college weren’t these petite little cuties they used to be.

I supposed junk food and shots kind of do that to you.  But that’s the beauty of college.  A new class comes in every year.  Fresh, young, and in shape.  But the beauty of cheerleaders is that they stay fit for all four years.  And it appears that the ladies of Maryland did the same 6 years ago.

Cheerleaders are a wonderful thing.  And I’m glad the other industries than sports are picking up on this concept.  In fact, even the gaming world is embracing the fact that hot chicks dancing spices up the mood at any party.  Take the folks at XBox for an example.

Rather than simply hosting some crappy party with a bunch of dorks, they decided to give those dorks some hope by inserting about 20 hot women in skimpy outfits to pose next to them.

It was one of Saddam’s favorite places to hold meetings and the place his last interview on network TV was held before he was hung. The chair he sat in for the interview remains and is used by guests. The luxury is eerie but welcome. It isn’t a five star hotel anymore as the stars above the grand entranceway claim.

But it’s certainly good enough for the Buffalo Bills Cheerleaders to hang out in.  They decided to cheer up some of the soldiers in Bagdad recently and I happened to stumble across a few pictures (and of course added some other ones).

The Louisville Cardinals took on DePaul at Freedom Hall on Sunday.  The game wasn’t really much to watch as Louisville destroyed the competition by a score of 99-54.  I don’t know about you guys but when a game tends to be a blowout like that one, I focus my attention on other things at the game.

After all, if you know you’re gonna be sitting there an extra hour, you’ve got to occupy your mind.  And what better a way than watch both the Cardinals Dancers and the Louisville Ladybird Dancers?

It’s gonna be a debate for the ages.  Which league has the hotter cheerleaders?  The NBA or the NFL?  And frankly it’s just a fun debate because I think everybody wins.  It’s just too bad both leagues don’t have some sort of contest on television.  Get a stripper pole, have them do their things.  You think this wouldn’t be Pay Per View special?

I really think I should be on the events committee for both leagues.  You just can’t do enough of this stuff.  OK, whatever.   I just know that NFL Cheerleades are quite tasty.
