Hockey in Germany!  I tell ya, it still doesn’t change the fact that the sport still sucks.  But at least if I’m ever in Frankfurt and am forced to watch a hockey game, I can take solace in knowing that I can watch the Frankfurt Lions Cheerleaders shake their tails.

Seriously, could hockey be any more lame?  At least they have fighting.  Why can’t they have cheerleading fighting at halftime?  Now that would at least be innovative.

While I keep wishing, at least there are photos of their suppporting staff.

I don’t know about you guys, but it definitely looks like cheerleading is becoming awfully close to go-go dancing.  Take the Southend Bluebelles for example.  The Southend United’s soccer ladies sure show why soccer is a sport I’m slowly starting to embrace.

P.S. How fitting is it that their name is only two letters away from being Blue Balls?  And rightfully so.  After you see a performance from them that’s exactly what you’ll be getting.

Who knew that Football in Japan would start growing in popularity?  In fact it’s the most popular sport in the country! I mean you have to figure it would be right?  Considering how ludicrous their game shows are, one would have to think that tackling and hitting is pretty damned close.

And when there’s something this successful, hot chicks are always a way to spice it up.  Let’s take the Fujitsu Frontiers for example.  Have you ever seen a cheering squad look like it’s having more fun than these girls?

Banzai!

Congrats to the Jets on their recent victory over the Bills this past weekend.  It was nice to see that they started to get a bit of composure back on the field.  Speaking of composure…

While the Jets were taking care of business a couple of weeks ago against the Chiefs, their “Flight Crew” looked like they were in much better control that day.

In fact I think I’d like to get rough on the field with these ladies on a few downs.

Ladies and gentlemen.  The NBA has started and that means lots of shaking action from all of the dance squads in cities around the country.

Most recently the Portland Trailers selected their woman to woo Greg Oden’s shorts.  Too bad he won’t be able to shake it himself.  He’s injured damnet.

But in the meantime, there’s no reason not to enjoy some behind the scene photos of the new Portland Dance Squad.
